Every believer in Christ is to be involved in
changing the world with the Good News of Jesus
Christ. Matthew 28:19-20 gives the mandate:
"Therefore go and make disciples of all
nations, baptizing them in the name of the
Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
and teaching them to obey everything I have
commanded you" (NIV).
We are commissioned to go into the world and
be witnesses; not just in our own neighborhood
(Jerusalem), but also on the "other side of
the tracks" (Samaria), and the other side
of the world (uttermost parts of the earth).
There are as many different ways to fulfill this
commission as there are churches and Women’s
Ministries groups. Are you ready to do your
part?
The first step in touching the world -
Prayer.
 Pray for God to place in your heart a
burning passion for souls.
Pray for His anointing to flow through
your life, touching the lives of the people
around you.
Pray for the boldness to be a woman of
influence, wherever you are.
The second step in touching the world -
Preparation.
Write a brief (less than 3 minutes) testimony
of what God has done in your life. This can be
more than your salvation story. What is God
doing for you right now? How does His presence
make a difference in your day-to-day living?
Memorize Scriptures. God’s Word is
powerful. What we have to share is important,
but the Word of God can pierce directly to the
soul of a person. It never returns without
accomplishing its purpose.
The third step in touching the world -
Pursuit.
The proof of desire is in the pursuit.
Passionate people pursue the object of their
desire. When one is passionate for God, he or
she will desire to see others become believers.
But passion and desire alone are not enough;
action is required! Pray. Prepare. Pursue God's
heart. He will send divine appointments your
way. Don't hesitate to take advantage of them. Boldly
share what Christ has done for you each
time an opportunity is provided.
