Membership & Growth

 

People in general usually can become members of an organization for many individual reasons, but there is always one common reason for each person and that reason is believing in the organization.  Believing what the organization stands for, believing in it's people and purpose.    Shepherd of the Valley is so proud of its members and the way each individual feels toward the church, its hierarchy and other members.  Our church has become not only the fastest growing church in the Pennsylvania Conference, but will soon be the largest in congregational size as well.   As we grow, responsibilities of our leaders grow as well, and in doing so, each leader has never failed to display the love and respect that is due all others.  In fact, here at Shepherd of the Valley PH Church, you will notice that each member as well as each person within the structure of hierarchy welcomes every new situation, is always helpful, courteous, with a display of the love of Christ.   We  are deeply concerned about those who are un-churched, un-saved, and bound for hell.  Of course the opposite of that and our goal as members is to bring those in that are in need of knowing the love of Jesus Christ, the reason He came and died, and knowing that He rose again.  Teaching that we as Christians can take our requests boldly to the Throne-Room, and that God is no respecter of persons.  Every member here at sotvc is important, just as each member of one's own body is important, and there is a great deal of comfort knowing there are others who care so deeply for you!
